| AN ACT TO AMEND THE SRI LANKA PRESS COUNCIL LAW | | |

| BE it enacted by the Parliament of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka as follows :- | |

Short title.
| 1.This Act may be cited as the Sri Lanka Press Council (Amendment) Act, No. 13 of 2002. | Amendment of section 15 of Law No 5 of 1973.
| 2.Section 15 of the Sri Lanka Press Council Law, No. 5 of 1973 is hereby amended by the repeal of paragraph (b) of subsection (1) of that section. | Sinhala text to Prevail in case of inconsistency.
| 3.In the event of any inconsistency between the Sinhala and Tamil texts of this Act, the Sinhala text shall prevail. | |
