AN ACT to amend the Central Bank of Samoa Act 1984.
[27th
January 2014]

BE IT ENACTED by the Legislative Assembly of Samoa in
Parliament assembled as follows:
1. Short title and commencement-(1) This Act may be
cited as the Central Bank of Samoa Amendment Act 2014.
(2) This Act is taken to have commenced on 1 December
2012, and as such has retrospective effect.
2. Section 22 amended - For section 22 of the Central Bank
of Samoa Act 1984:
(a) in subsection (1), after “legal tender” insert “and be
redeemed”; and
(b) repeal subsection (2).
