MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 100

REQUIRING THE CABINET SECRETARIAT TO RE-ACTIVATE ITS STAND-BY PERSONNEL

In view of the impending state of emergency created by the current eruptions of Mayon Volcano, the Cabinet Secretariat is hereby directed, to re-activate its “twenty-four hour stand-by personnel” to receive messages or information transmitted to this Office by telephone, telegram or any other-means of fast communications, to record and relay the same immediately to the proper authorities and to perform such other duties as may be assigned to it.

For this purpose, three (3) employees of the Cabinet Secretariat are hereby authorized to render overtime service with meal allowance of hot more than two (2) units each per day, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, as an exception to the provisions of Memorandum Order No. 54 current series, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

This Order takes effect as of April 21, 1968, and shall continue only until the cessation of the aforementioned state of emergency.
