MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 349

URGING ATTENDANCE OF CERTAIN GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES IN THE NATIONAL CONVENTION OF THE PHILIPPINE COOPERATIVE CREDIT UNION LEAGUE.

The Philippine Cooperative Credit Union League (PHILCUL) will hold its national convention in Manila on May 30-31, 1970. It will be highlighted by, among other features, workshops for the benefit of voluntary credit union leaders from different parts of the country.

In view of the importance of the credit union and cooperative movement to the improvement of the national economy, heads of departments and chiefs bureaus and offices, as well as government-owned or controlled corporations and local subdivisions, are hereby authorized to allow their employees who are officers or members of the PHILCUL to be out of their official stations on May 29 and June 1, 1970, on official time, to enable them to attend the convention.
