MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 772

AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE ANNUAL CONVENTION OF THE PHILIPPINE SOCIETY OF AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERS.

The Philippine Society of Agricultural Engineers will hold its Annual Convention at the Araneta Foundation University Compound on January 9-10, 1975, on the theme: “Towards Agro-Industrial Development.”

The participants in the convention will assess general policies affecting the practice of agricultural engineering profession in the Philippines and discuss problems and implementational deficiencies attendant to such policies, and that new researches and discoveries relative to the practice of agricultural engineering shall be presented and discussed by experts in their chosen field to update the skills and technical know-how of the agricultural engineers in the national government.

All heads of departments, chiefs of bureaus and offices, including state universities, colleges and government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send not more than two (2) cultural engineers to the convention on official time but no expenditure of whatever nature of government funds in connection therewith shall be authorized, pursuant to the provisions of Memorandum Circular No. 593 dated August8, 1972.

The participants shall submit to their agency heads a report on their attendance in the convention within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.
