MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 494

CREATING A PROJECT MONITORING GROUP EACH FOR LUBANG AND LOOC UNDER THE PRESIDENTIAL TASK FORCE.

Pursuant to Memorandum Order No, 415, series of 1974, and in order to insure a coordinated and expeditious implementation of projects for the development of Lubang Island, there is hereby created a Project Monitoring Group, under the Presidential Task Force, composed of the following:

Overall Coordinator
Squadron Commander 582nd Aircraft Control & Warning Signal Lubang Air Station

Municipal Project Monitoring Team each for Lubang and Looc, composed of their respective:

Municipal Mayor
Team Leader

District School Supervisor
Member

Parish Priest
Member

The Project Monitoring Group shall be under the direct operational supervision of the Task Force Chairman, and shall have the following functions:

1. Initiate Community Projects on self-help basis towards the strengthening of the Bayanihan spirit in the community and the development of self-reliance and pride among the people;

2. Oversee and supervise the effective prosecution of all development Projects within the aforesaid municipalities;

3. Implement fully the Guidelines prescribed by the Presidential Task Force for the Projects;

4. Formulate guidelines and suggestions, and recommend measures to the Presidential Task Force for the effective solution of problems that may be encountered in the prosecution of such projects; and

5. Submit progress reports to the Presidential Task Force on the implementation of said Projects.
