MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 329

EXEMPTING THE AREAS AFFECTED BY TYPHOON “RUPING” FROM THE COVERAGE OF THE ENERGY OPERATIONS BOARD MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 10-01, S. OF 1990, AND SUSPENDING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF EXECUTIVE ORDERS NO. 433 AND 418, BOTH S. OF 1990, IN THESE AREAS.

To pave the way for immediate relief and rehabilitation, the areas devastated by the recent Typhoon “Ruping”, where the existence of a state of public calamity has been declared pursuant to Proclamation No. 663, S. of 1990, are hereby exempted from the coverage of the Energy Operations Board Memorandum Circular No. EOB-10-01 on the ten percent (10%) reduction in the sales and deliveries of petroleum products to petroleum fuel resellers, distributors, marketers, retailers including bulk sales to industrial/commercial or agricultural customers and other agencies, corporations, or individuals directly withdrawing their petroleum product requirements from oil companies’ depots, bulk plants and other storage and distribution facilities.

For the same reason, the implementation of Executive Order No. 433, S. of 1990, entitled “Directing The Immediate Implementation Of Additional Energy Conservation Measures” and Executive Order No. 418, S. of 1990, entitled “Directing The Immediate Implementation Of An Energy Conservation Program” are hereby suspended in these affected areas.

This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately and shall remain in force and effect until otherwise revoked.
