MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 1

DIRECTING ALL EMPLOYEES IN THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT WHOSE APPOINTMENTS ARE UNDER NON-CAREER CIVIL SERVICE STATUS TO CONTINUE, IN HOLDOVER CAPACITY, TO PERFORM THEIR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES UNTIL REPLACED

In order that there will be no interruption or disruption in the operations of the immediate offices of the President such as Malacañang Household, Protocol, Appointments, Social Secretary, Private Office, Presidential Library and others, all employees in these offices who are reporting to duties as of the date of this issuance are hereby directed to continue, in holdover capacity, performing their duties and responsibilities until they shall have been replaced.

All those employees under similar status who have already resigned, or applied for retirement and are now working on the necessary papers are not covered by this Order.

This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
