MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 310

AMENDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF

MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 222 (DATED 26 JULY 1994)

WHEREAS, Memorandum Order No. 222 (dated 26 July 1994) created a NEDA Board Executive Committee to resolve policy issues involving few agencies or a specific sector without the necessity of convening the entire NEDA Board;

WHEREAS, the NEDA Board Executive Committee was delegated the power to act for the NEDA Board for matters falling within the policies set forth in the Constitution and in existing laws and issuances, approved development plans and programs, and policies previously set forth by the President or the NEDA Board, including approval of projects recommended by the Investment Coordination Committee;

WHEREAS, there is need to further facilitate the decision-making process at the NEDA Board to ensure that projects or issues requiring NEDA Board discussion and decision are immediately acted upon;

NOW, THEREFORE, I FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law do hereby order:

SECTION 1. COMPOSITION OF THE NEDA BOARD EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE. In order to facilitate action on matters requiring the decision of the NEDA Board, the NEDA Board Executive Committee reactivated under Memorandum Order No. 222 (dated 26 July 1994) shall be composed of the following:

Co-Chairperson, Infrastructure Committee

 
 
Governor, Bangko Sentral Pilipinas

SEC. 2. OTHER PROVISIONS OF MO 222. All other provisions of Memorandum Order No. 222 (dated 26 July 1994) shall remain in effect.

SEC. 3. EFFECTIVITY. This memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
