PROCLAMATION NO. 1282

DECLARING MONDAY, APRIL 30, 2007 AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN DAGUPAN CITY

WHEREAS, the City of Dagupan will be celebrating the 6th Bangus Festival on April 26 to May 1, 2007;

WHEREAS, the highlights included in the event are the 101 Ways to Cook Bangus, Sayaw at Saya sa Bangus Fiesta, Pigar-Pigar Fiesta, Bangus Rodeo, Gilon! Gilon! Street Dancing Competition and the City’s bid for the world’s longest barbeque; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper to give Dagupeños full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Monday, April 30, 2007, as special (non-working) day in the City of Dagupan.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
