PROCLAMATION NO. 1888

CREATING AND DESIGNATING A PROPOSED BUILDING KNOWN AS JESA BUILDING TO BE ESTABLISHED ON A PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED AT 90 GENERAL MAXILOM AVENUE, CEBU CITY, CEBU AS AN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CENTER PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916 AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748

Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995 as amended by Republic Act No. 8748 and upon the recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916 as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, Resolution No. 04-411 dated 29 December 2000, as amended by Resolution No. 04-295 dated 20 September 2004 and Resolution No. 08-148 dated 13 March 2008 of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, the JESA Building with a gross floor area of 8,310 square meters, more or less, to be established on a parcel of land located at 90 General Maxilom Avenue, Cebu City, Cebu, containing an area of Two Thousand Thirty (2,030) Square Meters, more or less, as defined by the following technical description:

Psd-58288

A parcel of land (SK-07-000114, described on plan), situated in the City of Cebu, Island of Cebu. Bounded on the NW., along line 1-2, by Lot 855-A (Mango Avenue), on the NE., along line 2-3, by Lot 855-C, both of Psd-58288, on the SE., SW., along lines 3-4-5, by Lot 1474 (Abandoned Road).

Beginning at a point marked ‘1’ on plan, being N. 68 deg. 14′ E, 803.50 m. from Mon. ‘C’, Banilad Estate;

thence N. 71 deg. 36′ E., 24.00 m. to point 2;

thence S. 18 deg. 59′ E., 86.68 m. to point 3;

thence S. 77 deg. 55′ W., 23.73 m. to point 4;

thence N. 19 deg. 17′ W., 84.12 m. to the point of

beginning; containing an area of Two Thousand Thirty (2,030) Square Meters, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground by Old P.S. Cyl. Conc. Mons. 15 x 60 cms., Bearings True; Sketch plan was prepared by Geodetic Engineer Leopoldo C. Tuastumban on July 02, 2008 and was approved on November 07, 2008.”
