PROCLAMATION NO. 2111

CREATING AND DESIGNATING A BUILDING WHICH STANDS ON A PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED ALONG QUEZON AVENUE, QUEZON CITY, KNOWN AS THE SUNNYMEDE IT CENTER, AS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CENTER, PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916 AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748

Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995 as amended by Republic Act No. 8748 and upon the recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916 as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, Resolution No. 00-411 dated 29 December 2000 and Resolution No. 07-547 dated 28 November 2007 of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, the Sunnymede IT Center as an Information Technology Center located along Quezon Avenue, Quezon City, which stands on a parcel of land of the private domain with an area of One Thousand Five Hundred (1,500) Square Meter, more or less, as defined by the following technical description:

“Lot 6, Block S-143, Bsd-7365-B

TCT No. N-254404

A parcel of land (Lot 6, Block S-143, of Diliman Estate Subdivision plan Bsd-7365-B being a portion of Lot R.P. 3-B-1 of plan Bsd-7365, GLRO Rec. No. 7681), situated in the District of Diliman, Quezon City. Bounded on the NE., by Lot 7, Blk. S-143; on the SE., by Lot 16. S-143, on the SW., by Lot 5, Blk. S-143, and on the NW., by Lot R-279 (Quezon Boulevard) all of the subdivision plan.

Beginning at a point marked ‘1’ on plan, being N. 13 deg. 24′ E., 318.84 m. more or less from BLLM No. 8, Quezon City;

50.00 m. to point 2;

thence

N. 57 deg. 37′ E.,

30.00 m. to point 3;

thence

S. 32 deg. 23′ E.,

50.00 m. to point 4;

30.00 m. to the point of

beginning; containing an area of One Thousand Five Hundred (1,500) square meters, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and marked on the ground by BL cyl. conc. mons., 15 x 60 cm., bearings true; declination true; declination variable date of the original survey, December 1910-June 1911 and that of the subdivision survey December 1939 to December 1940.”

IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed hereto.
