MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 4

EXPRESSING CONCURRENCE IN THE COMMISSION ON ELECTIONS RESOLUTION NO. 9026 PROMULGATED ON 16 SEPTEMBER 2010

Pursuant to Article IX(C), Section 2 (4) of the 1987 Constitution, I , BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, President of the Philippines, do hereby concur with Resolution No. 9026 of the Commission on Elections promulgated on September 16, 2010, deputizing, in connection with the October 25, 2010 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections, law enforcement agencies and other instrumentalities of the Government, including the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police, for the exclusive purpose of ensuring free, orderly, honest, peaceful and credible elections.

All government agencies, officials and employees deputized by the Commission on Elections pursuant to this Memorandum Order are hereby directed to coordinate and cooperate with the Commission on Elections in the performance of their respective duties and functions.

This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.

Done, in the City of Manila, this 1st day of October in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Ten.
