PROCLAMATION NO. 243

RESERVING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN LOCATED IN BARANGAYS HINANGGAYON AND ARGAO, MUNICIPALITY OF MOGPOG, PROVINCE OF MARINDUQUE, ISLAND OF MARINDUQUE AS LUZON DATUM ORIGIN NATIONAL HISTORICAL LANDMARK, ECO-TOURISM SITES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale, lease or settlement and reserve as LUZON DATUM ORIGIN NATIONAL HISTORICAL LANDMARK, ECO-TOURISM SITES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES, a certain parcel of land of the public domain located in the Barangays of Hinanggayon and Argao, Municipality of Mogpog, Province of Marinduque, Island of Marinduque, subject to private rights, if any there be, which parcel of land are more particularly described as follows:

A parcel of land (Lot 1, Swo-4B-000001), situated at the Barangays of Hinanggayon and Argao, Municipality of Mogpog, Province of Marinduque, Island of Marinduque.

Bounded on the NE., along line 1-2 by Lot 3607; along line 2-3 by Lot 3617; along lines 3-4-5 by Lot 2, Swo-4B-000001; along line 5-6 by Lot 3, Swo-4B-000001; on the SE., along line 6-7 by Lot 3274; along lines 7-8-9 by Lot 3258; along lines 9-10-11-12-13-14-15 by Lot 3255; on the SW., along lines 15-16-17-18-19-20-21-22-23-24-25-26-27-28-29 by Tabia Creek; along lines 29-30-31-32-33 by Lot 3218; along lines 34-35-36-37-38-39 by Lot 3219; along lines 40-41-42-43 by Lot 3569; on the NW., along lines 43-44-45-46 by Lot 3570 and along line 46-1 by Lot 3606, all of Cad-692-D, Mogpog Cadastre.

All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground by P.S. Cyl. Cone. Mons. 15 x 40 cms. Bearings Grid. Date of survey on April 12 to May 27, 1981 and the Special Work Order was executed on March 22 – 25, 2011 and approved on April 20, 2011.

The tract of land herein reserved shall revert to the mass of the public domain should the same no longer serve the purposes for which it was reserved.

The Luzon Datum Origin National Historical Landmark and Eco-tourism Sites shall be jointly managed by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA) and the Provincial Government of Marinduque, which shall prepare a comprehensive development plan of the proclaimed area.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
