PROCLAMATION NO. 540

DECLARING MONDAY, 18 FEBRUARY 2013, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BAYAWAN, NEGROS ORIENTAL

WHEREAS, the celebration of the Tawo-Tawo Festival of the City of Bayawan will be held on Monday, 18 February 2013;

WHEREAS, the Tawo-Tawo Festival reflects the culture of the City of Bayawan being a rice granary of the southern part of the Province of Negros Oriental;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Bayawan be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Monday, 18 February 2013, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Bayawan.
