The Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania,

commemorating the 20^th anniversary of the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant,

expresses solidarity with all the victims and presents its deep condolences to the relatives of those perished as a result of the Chernobyl disaster;

invites the Government of the Republic of Lithuania and the governments of other EU Member States as well as countries around the world not to forget this disaster and to provide active support to the victims of the disaster response operation.
