ON THE RATIFICATION OF THE Convention on

centralised customs clearance, concerning

the allocation of national collection costs

retained when traditional own resources

are made available to the EU budget

Article 1. Ratification of the Convention

Invoking subparagraph 16 of Article 67 and subparagraph 6 of paragraph 1 of Article 138 of the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania, and having regard to Decree No 1K-105 of the President of the Republic of 11 September 2009, the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania shall ratify the Convention on centralised customs clearance, concerning the allocation of national collection costs retained when traditional own resources are made available to the EU budget, done at Brussels on 10 March 2009.

 

Article 2. Declaration of the Republic of Lithuania

The Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania shall, in pursuance of paragraph 3 of Article 7 of the Convention, declare that until the entry into force of the Convention the Republic of Lithuania will apply the Convention in its relations with those Member States of the European Union which have made the same declaration.

 

Article 3. Proposal to the Government of the Republic of Lithuania

The Government of the Republic of Lithuania shall appoint institutions responsible for the implementation of the provisions of the Convention.

 

I promulgate this Law adopted by the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania.
