ON THE RATIFICATION OF THE COMPREHENSIVE ECONOMIC AND TRADE AGREEMENT (CETA) BETWEEN CANADA, OF THE ONE PART,

AND THE EUROPEAN UNION AND ITS MEMBER STATES, OF THE OTHER PART

Article 1. Ratification of the Agreement

The Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, acting pursuant to point 16 of Article 67 and paragraph 2 of Article 138 of the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania as well as point 10 of paragraph 1 of Article 7 of the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Treaties and having regard to Decree No 1K-974 of the President of the Republic of 23 May 2017, hereby ratifies the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between Canada, of the one part, and the European Union and its Member States, of the other part, done at Brussels on 30 October 2016.

 

I promulgate this Law passed by the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania.
