Endangered Species (CITES) (Fees) (Jersey) Order 2012
THE MINISTER FOR PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENT, in pursuance of Articles 30 and 49 of the Endangered Species (CITES) (Jersey) Law 2012[1], orders as follows –

1 Interpretation
In this Order, “Law” means the Endangered Species (CITES) (Jersey) Law 2012[2].
2 Fees
(1) Subject to paragraphs (4) and (5), an application under Article 19 of the Law for the grant of a permit, certificate or licence shall be accompanied by the fee shown in column 2 of the table in the Schedule opposite the description of permit, certificate or licence in respect of which the application is made.
(2) An application under Article 26 of the Law for alteration of, or alteration or revocation of a condition in, a permit, certificate or licence, shall be accompanied by the fee shown in column 3 of the table in the Schedule opposite the description of the permit, certificate or licence in respect of which the application is made.
(3) An application under Article 29 of the Law for a replacement permit, certificate or licence shall be accompanied by the fee shown in column 4 of the table in the Schedule opposite the description of the permit, certificate or licence in respect of which the application is made.
(4) A fee is not required to accompany an application under Article 19 for an import permit, export permit or re-export certificate if the Management Authority has, prior to the application being made, determined that the import, export or re-export of specimens of a species referred to in the application is likely to bring conservation benefits to the species or, if specimens of more than one species are referred to in an application, those species.
(5) A fee for a commercial licence shall be reduced by 50% if, at the time the Management Authority is considering the application for the licence, the premises in which each specimen to which the application relates is held, or to be held, are inspected by the Minister for Planning and Environment, or any officer within the meaning of the Law, pursuant to any power or duty under an enactment other than the Law.
3 Citation
This Order may be cited as the Endangered Species (CITES) (Fees) (Jersey) Order 2012.
