The Government, on the request of the Minister for Social Protection and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by

section 11

(1) of the

Public Service Management Act 1997

(No. 27 of 1997), hereby order as follows:


1. This Order may be cited as the Appointment of Special Advisers (Minister for Social Protection) Order 2016.


2. Mr. Brian Murphy, particulars of whose address have been deposited at the offices of the Department of Social Protection, Áras Mhic Dhiarmada, Store Street, Dublin 1, is appointed to be a Special Adviser to the Minister for Social Protection, with effect from 6 May 2016.


3. Mr. Nick Miller, particulars of whose address have been deposited at the offices of the Department of Social Protection, Áras Mhic Dhiarmada, Store Street, Dublin 1, is appointed to be a Special Adviser to the Minister for Social Protection, with effect from 6 May 2016.
