IRISH MEDICINES BOARD (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT 2006 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER 2007
I, MARY HARNEY, Minister for Health and Children, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1(7) of the Irish Medicines Board (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 (No. 3 of 2006), hereby order as follows:

1.  This Order may be cited as the Irish Medicines Board (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 (Commencement) Order 2007.

2.  In this Order “Act of 2006” means the Irish Medicines Board (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 (No. 3 of 2006).

3.  The following provisions of the Act of 2006 are hereby commenced-
(a)  section 3,
(b)  section 4,
(c)  section 16,
(d)  section 27, and
(e)  section 29.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation).
This Order may be cited as the Irish Medicines Board (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 (Commencement) Order 2007.
The effect of the Order is to commence provisions of the Irish Medicines Board (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 relevant to (a) nurse prescribing and (b) the extension of the schools dental service to all primary level pupils.
