379/2001 Coll. DECREE of the Ministry of Regional Development of 17 October 2001 laying down the content and scope of specialized training to operate a funeral home, embalming and preservation of the implementation and operation of crematories Ministry of Regional Development, pursuant to § 31 of Act no. 256/2001 Coll. a funeral and amending certain laws (hereinafter the "Act") to implement § 6 para. 3, § 10 paragraph. 3 and § 13 par. 3 of the Act: § 1 Funeral services specialized training required by § 6 para. 2 Act to operate a funeral service includes a) an operational part with at least 40 lessons focusing on arranging burial and the psychology of dealing with people, procedures for transporting and burying human remains, conditioning, temporary storage and exposure to human remains, safety and health at work, technical operating equipment and funeral services; b) the economic part of at least 20 lessons focusing on the economics of the operation of funeral services, including accounting, pricing, registration, compensation and tax issues; c) the legal part of at least 20 lessons focusing on the treatment of handling human remains ^ 1) and knowledge of selected parts of civil, commercial, labor, commercial and criminal law relating to the operation of a funeral service. § 2 Embalming and preservation of specialized training required pursuant to § 10 par. 2 Act to perform embalming and preservation encompasses a) operating part in a range of at least 260 lessons focused on procedures for embalming and preservation, safety and health at work and on the issues technical and operational equipment; b) the economic part of at least 20 lessons focusing on the economy, the implementation of embalming and preservation, including accounting, pricing, accounting and tax issues; c) the legal part of at least 20 lessons focusing on the treatment of handling human remains ^ 1) and knowledge of selected parts of the foundations of civil, commercial and criminal law. § 3 Operation crematorium specialized training required pursuant to § 13 para. 2 of the Act to operate a crematorium comprises a) an operational part with at least 40 lessons focusing on the handling of human remains before cremation, cremating human remains and human remains, and store them in urns, the issue of the operation of cremation furnaces and related technical and operational equipment, safety and health at work and on environmental issues; b) the economic part of at least 20 lessons focusing on the economics of operating a crematorium including accounting, pricing, registration, compensation and tax issues; c) the legal part of at least 20 lessons focusing on the treatment of handling human remains ^ 1) and knowledge of selected parts of the foundations of civil, commercial, labor, commercial and criminal law and laws relating to the operation of a crematorium in terms of environmental protection and energy. ^ 2) § 4 Successful completion of specialized training is demonstrated by a document containing a) the registration number of the document, b) the name and address of the educational establishment, c) information about the applicant (name and surname, date of birth, place of residence, for a foreigner instead of staying outside the Czech Republic and place of residence in the Czech Republic), d) the name of the domain for which it is issued, e) the date of the document, f) stamp of the educational establishment. § 5 This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 2002.
