Comprehensive Academic and Research Institutions
1   The following public post-secondary institutions are assigned to the Comprehensive Academic and Research Institutions sector of the publicly funded post-secondary system:
                                 (a)    Athabasca University;
                                 (b)    University of Alberta;
                                 (c)    University of Calgary;
                                 (d)    University of Lethbridge.
Baccalaureate and Applied Studies Institutions
2   The following public post-secondary institutions are assigned to the Baccalaureate and Applied Studies Institutions sector of the publicly funded post-secondary system:
                                 (a)    Grant MacEwan University;
                                 (b)    Mount Royal University.

Polytechnical Institutions
3   The following public post-secondary institutions are assigned to the Polytechnical Institutions sector of the publicly funded post-secondary system:
                                 (a)    Northern Alberta Institute of Technology;
                                 (b)    Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Comprehensive Community Institutions
4   The following public post-secondary institutions are assigned to the Comprehensive Community Institutions sector of the publicly funded post-secondary system:
                                 (a)    Bow Valley College;
                                 (b)    Grande Prairie Regional College;
                                 (c)    Keyano College;
                                 (d)    Lakeland College;
                                 (e)    Lethbridge College;
                                 (f)    Medicine Hat College;
                                 (g)    NorQuest College;
                                 (h)    Northern Lakes College;
                                  (i)    Olds College;
                                  (j)    Portage College;
                                 (k)    Red Deer College.
Independent Academic Institutions
5   The following publicly funded private colleges are assigned to the Independent Academic Institutions sector of the publicly funded post-secondary system:
                                 (a)    Ambrose University College;
                                 (b)    Canadian University College;
                                 (c)    Concordia University College of Alberta;
                                 (d)    The King’s University College;
                                 (e)    St. Mary’s University College;
                                 (f)    repealed AR 6/2013 s3.

Specialized Arts and Cultural Institutions
6   The following public post-secondary institutions are assigned to the Specialized Arts and Cultural Institutions sector of the publicly funded post-secondary system:
                                 (a)    Alberta College of Art and Design;
                                 (b)    The Banff Centre.
Expiry
7   For the purpose of ensuring that this Regulation is reviewed for ongoing relevancy and necessity, with the option that it may be repassed in its present or an amended form following a review, this Regulation expires on January 31, 2018.
