Witness Protection Programs

Prescribed programs

1. The following programs are prescribed for the purposes of the definition of “witness protection program” in subsection 7 (6) of the Act:

1. Ontario’s Witness Protection Program, administered by the Ministry of the Attorney General.

2. The OPP Witness Protection Program, administered by the Ontario Provincial Police.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day subsection 23 (2) of Schedule 2 to the Good Government Act, 2009 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
