Order Respecting the Remission of Customs Duties on Certain Guitar Parts
P.C. 1994-1836  1994-11-01His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 101 of the Customs TariffFootnote *, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Order respecting the remission of customs duties on certain guitar parts.

1 This Order may be cited as the Guitar Parts Remission Order, 1994.

Remission

2 Subject to section 3, remission is hereby granted of the customs duties paid or payable under Schedule I to the Customs Tariff on certain parts of guitars.

Conditions

3 The remission is granted pursuant to section 2 on the condition that:

(a) the guitar parts are imported into Canada during the period commencing on September 23, 1993 and ending on March 10, 1994;
(b) the guitar parts are for use in the manufacture of guitars; and
(c) a claim for remission is made to the Minister of National Revenue within two years of the date of importation of the goods for which remission is claimed.
