[Ch0802s327]327. Conditional remission of sentence by the President

In any case in which the President extends mercy

to an offender under sentence of imprisonment he may extend mercy upon

condition of the offender entering into a recognizance on condition as in the

case of offenders discharged by the court upon suspension of the execution of a

sentence. The offender shall thereupon be liable to the same obligations and to

be dealt with in all respects in the same manner as a person discharged by the

court on recognizance upon such suspension.
