INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS OF BERMUDA AMENDMENTS
TO BY-LAWS 2012

BR 81 / 2012

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bermuda, in exercise of the powers
conferred on it by section 7 of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bermuda Act 1973,
makes the following amendments to its By-Laws:

Citation
These By-Laws, which amend the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bermuda

By-Laws 2006 (the “principal By-Laws”), may be cited as the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Bermuda Amendments to By-Laws 2012.

Amends By-Law 7
By-Law 7(1)(c)(i), of the principal By-Laws, is amended by—

deleting the word “sections” and substituting the word “section"; and

deleting the words “and 12”.

Amends By-Law 19
By-Law 19, of the principal By-Laws, is amended—

in paragraph (1) by deleting the word “presidents” and substituting the
word “chairmen”;

in paragraph (2) by deleting—

the word “eleven” and substituting the words “not less than five and no
more than twenty”; and

the word “eight” and substituting the words “sixty percent”.

Amends By-Law 64
By-Law 64(1), of the principal By-Laws, is amended by deleting the words “, after

a three month grace period,”.
