PHARMACY AND POISONS (DESIGNATED COUNTRIES)

ORDER 2009



The Minister responsible for health, in exercise of the powers
conferred by section 25 of the Pharmacy and Poisons Act 1979, makes
the following Order:

Citation

1 This Order may be cited as the Pharmacy and Poisons
(Designated Countries) Order 2009.

List of approved countries of origin
2 The countries listed in the Schedule to this Order are designated
as approved countries for the purposes of section 25 of the Pharmacy
and Poisons Act 1979 (restriction on the importation of medicines).

Revocation of BR46/1984
3 The Pharmacy and Poisons (Designated Countries) Order 1984 is
revoked.

Commencement
4 This Order comes into effect on 1st March 2009.
