NATIONAL TRAINING BOARD (DESIGNATION OF

OCCUPATIONS) REGULATIONS 2008


The Minister responsible for the National Training Board, on the

recommendation of the National Training Board, in exercise of the power

conferred upon him by section 4 of the National Occupational

Certification Act 2004, makes the following Regulations:

Short title

1 These Regulations may be cited as the National Training Board

(Designation of Occupations) Regulations 2008.

Interpretation

2 In these Regulations “Act” means the National Occupational

Certification Act 2004.

Designation of occupations

3 The Minister hereby designates the occupations in the Schedule

to these Regulations as occupations which require compulsory

certification in accordance with the provisions of the Act.

Commencement

4 These Regulations shall come into operation on 31st December,

2009.
