MARINE BOARD (LIGHT TOLLS) REGULATIONS 2009



The Minister responsible for Marine and Ports Services, in

exercise of the powers conferred by section 103(2) of the Marine Board

Act 1962 makes the following Regulations:

Short title

1 These Regulations may be cited as the Marine Board (Light Tolls)

Regulations 2009.

Payment of light tolls

2 Light tolls payable pursuant to section 25 of the Marine Board

Act 1962 shall be calculated as set out in the Schedule.

Revocation

3 The Marine Board (Light Tolls) Regulations 2001 are revoked.

SCHEDULE (regulation 2)



LIGHT TOLLS

1. Vessel calling at these Islands—

(a) For the sole purpose of landing

any sick, disabled or injured

person and not landing any other

person and not taking on board or

discharging cargo; or

(b) by reason of sickness on board,

under contract to Her Majesty's

Government in laying, repairing or

maintaining any electric cable, or

in any service connected

(b) vessels calling at these Islands for

own use; or

(d) vessels calling at these Islands not

less often than once in every

twenty-eight days to land or take

on board passengers or cargo
