NATIONAL TRAINING BOARD AMENDMENT ACT 2009

WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the National Training Board

Act 1997:

Be it enacted by The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and

with the advice and consent of the Senate and the House of Assembly of

Bermuda, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Short title

1 This Act, which amends the National Training Board Act 1997

(the “principal Act”), may be cited as the National Training Board

Amendment Act 2009.

Amends section 24

2 Section 24 of the principal Act is amended by, immediately after

subsection (5), inserting the following—

“ (6) A scheme or an order referred to in this section is not

subject to the Statutory Instruments Act 1977.”.

Amends section 25

3 Section 25 of the principal Act is amended by, immediately after

subsection (7), inserting the following—

“ (8) A notice or a scheme referred to in this section is not

subject to the Statutory Instruments Act 1977.”.

Amends section 28

4 Section 28 of the principal Act is amended by, immediately after

subsection (2), inserting the following—

“ (3) Regulations made under this section are subject to

the negative resolution procedure.”.
