Be it enacted by The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and
with the advice and consent of the Senate and the House of Assembly of
Bermuda, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Short title
1 This Act may be cited as the Auxiliary Bicycles Amendment Act
2009.

Amends section 18 of the Auxiliary Bicycles Act 1954
2 Section 18 of the Auxiliary Bicycles Act 1954 is amended by
inserting the following next after subsection (5)—

“(5A) For greater certainty, an auxiliary bicycle that does
not comply with approved emission standards, as required by
section 17A, is unfit for use on the roads of Bermuda.”.

Amends section 19 of the Auxiliary Bicycles Act 1954
2A Section 19(4) of the Auxiliary Bicycles Act 1954 is amended by
inserting next after the words “section 18(5)” the words “and (5A)”.

Related amendment to the Government Fees Regulations 1976
3 The Schedule to the Government Fees Regulations 1976 is
amended by repealing item (3) of Head 2 and replacing it with the
following—
