BERMUDA HOSPITALS BOARD (MEDICAL AND DENTAL
CHARGES) ORDER 2008


The Minister responsible for Health, in exercise of the power
conferred by section 13A(4)(b) of the Bermuda Hospitals Board Act 1970,
makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement
1 This Order may be cited as the Bermuda Hospitals Board
(Medical and Dental Charges) Order 2008 and shall come into operation
on 1 September 2008.

Interpretation
2 In this Order —

“specialist” means a person designated as such by the Medical
Staff Committee of the Bermuda Hospitals Board;

“unit” means a unit in the scale of fees prepared by the Minister
under section 13A(1) of the Bermuda Hospitals Board Act
1970.

Dollar value of units
3 For the purposes of section 13A(4)(b) of the Bermuda Hospitals
Board Act 1970, in relation to the type of practitioner listed in the
Schedule hereto, the dollar value of each unit shall be as set out in the
Schedule.

Revocation
4 The Bermuda Hospitals Board (Medical and Dental Charges)
Order 2007 is revoked.
