MINISTERS AND MEMBERS OF THE LEGISLATURE
(SALARIES AND PENSIONS) (NO. 2) AMENDMENT ACT 2008

Be it enacted by The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and
with the advice and consent of the Senate and the House of Assembly of
Bermuda, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Short title
1 This Act may be cited as the Ministers and Members of the
Legislature (Salaries and Pensions) (No. 2) Amendment Act 2008.

Amends section 15C
2 Section 15C of the Ministers and Members of the Legislature
(Salaries and Pensions) Act 1975 is amended by repealing subsections (2)
and (3) and replacing them with the following—

“(2) Where a refund of contributions has been made to a
contributor under section 15A(4), the Government’s
contributions in respect of that contributor shall remain in the
Fund.”

Commencement
3 This Act shall come into operation on such date as the Minister
of Finance may appoint by notice published in the Gazette.
