PUBLIC SERVICE (DELEGATION OF POWERS) AMENDMENT
REGULATIONS 2007



The Governor, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by
section 83(1) of the Constitution of Bermuda, acting in accordance with
the recommendation of the Public Service Commission, makes the
following Regulations:

Citation
1 These Regulations may be cited as the Public Service (Delegation
of Powers) Amendment Regulations 2007.

Amends Public Service (Delegation of Powers) Regulations 2001
2 The Public Service (Delegation of Powers) Regulations 2001 are
amended—

(a) in regulation 2 by inserting, in its correct alphabetical
position, the following definition—

“ “Head of the Civil Service" means the officer who has
overall responsibility for the public service;”; and

(b) in items 8, 9, 10 and 12 of the Schedule, by replacing
the words “Secretary to the Cabinet” with the words
“Head of the Civil Service”.
