GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES (HEALTH INSURANCE)
(BENEFITS) AMENDMENT ORDER 2007



The Minister of Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred
upon her by section 12 of the Government Employees (Health Insurance)
Act 1986, makes the following Order:

Citation
1 This Order, which amends the Government Employees (Health
Insurance) (Benefits) Order 1997 (“the principal Order”), may be cited as
the Government Employees (Health Insurance) (Benefits) Amendment
Order 2007.

Amendment to Part II of the Schedule to the principal Order
2 Part II of the Schedule to the principal Order is amended —

(a) in paragraph 8(2)(a)(iii), by deleting the words “limited to
80% of the cost thereof”;

(b) by inserting, next after paragraph 10A, the following —

“Chiropractic Services
10B Subject to the maximum amount determined by the
Committee, the cost of services provided by a
chiropractor.”; and

(c) in paragraph 13 —

(i) by deleting “$200” in subparagraph (1) and
substituting “$250”;

(ii) by deleting “$25” in subparagraph (3) and
substituting “$50”; and

(iii) by deleting “$175” in the proviso to
subparagraph (5) and substituting “$200”.

Commencement
3 This Order shall come into operation on 1st May, 2007.
