CUSTOMS TARIFF STANDING AUTHORIZATION (TEMPORARY
IMPORTATION OF VESSELS, AIRCRAFT AND TRANSPORT
CONTAINERS) NOTICE 2007
Definition
1 In this Notice—
“the Act” means the Customs Tariff Act 1970; and
“CPC” means customs procedure code.
Standing Authorization
2 (1) In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Collector of
Customs by section 5(4) of the Act and by general provision 2 of the
Sixth Schedule to the Act, I hereby give standing authorization
permitting the temporary importation of—
(a) aircraft of CPC 5001that arrive in Bermuda under their
own power (not including equipment, engines and parts
thereof);
(b) aircraft of CPC 5002 that arrive in Bermuda under their
own power (not including equipment, engines and parts
thereof);
(c) vessels of CPC 5004 that arrive in Bermuda under their
own power (not including articles and parts thereof);

(d) vessels of CPC 5005 that arrive in Bermuda under their
own power (not including articles and parts thereof);
(e) vessels of CPC 5006 that arrive in Bermuda under their
own power (not including articles and parts thereof);
(f) aircraft of CPC 5018;
(g) transport containers of CPC 5021 containing goods (not
including articles and parts thereof); and
(h) transport containers of CPC 5021 that arrive in
Bermuda empty to be used for export of goods (not
including articles and parts thereof),
by any person, without the need to apply for and receive
authorization for every importation.
(2) It shall be a condition of this standing authorization that
the holders shall comply with the conditions and observe the restrictions
applicable to the relevant goods set out in the Table of Temporary
Importation Reliefs in the Act.
Commencement
3 The 4th day of May, 2007 is appointed as the day on which this
Notice shall have effect.
