CUSTOMS DUTY (COMMERCIAL TOUR BOAT OPERATORS)
REMISSION ORDER 2007



The Minister of Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred by
section 2 of the Customs Duty (Special Remission) Act 1951, makes the
following Order:

Citation
1 This Order may be cited as the Customs Duty (Commercial Tour
Boat Operators) Remission Order 2007.

Exemption from import duty
2 A commercial tour boat operator licensed under regulation 4 of
the Marine Board (Island Boats) Regulations 1965 shall be exempted
from the payment of customs duty on fuel, imported or sold for use in
licensed tour boats during the months of May, June, July, August,
September and October in any given year.

Exemption from duty at expiration of this Order
3 At the expiration of this Order, fuel which has been imported
into or sold free from import duty in Bermuda by virtue of paragraph 2
shall not be subject to import duty by reason only that this Order has
ceased to have effect.

Commencement and expiration
4 This Order shall come into force on 1 May 2007 and shall expire
on 30 April 2011.
