ARRANGEMENT OF PARAGRAPHS

The Minister responsible for Tourism and Transport, in exercise
of the powers conferred by section 10(1) of the Marine Board Act 1962,
gives the following Notice:

Short title
1 This Notice may be cited as the Marine Board (Control Over
Maritime Traffic) Notice (No. 7) 2006.

Christmas Boat Parade
2 (1) The Christmas Boat Parade will take place in Hamilton
Harbour on Saturday, 9th December 2006.

(2) If the event is not able to be held on this date due to
unsuitable weather conditions, the Christmas Boat Parade will be held
on Sunday, 10th December, 2006 and this Order will apply accordingly.

Closure of certain sections of Hamilton Harbour
3 (1) The section of Hamilton Harbour on a line between Saltus
Island and the eastern end of Hinson's Island to the Warwick Shoreline
at Godet's Passage will be closed to normal marine traffic on Saturday,
9th December 2006 between the hours of 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm.

(2) A five-knot no wake restriction shall apply to all boats when
navigating the section referred to in sub-paragraph (1).

Patrol of Course
4 The section of Hamilton Harbour referred to in paragraph 3(1)
will be patrolled by the Marshall boats and all mariners, pilots and
boatman are required to exercise caution when approaching or
maneuvering in the area.
