PENALTIES) AMENDMENT NOTICE 2004
The Senior Magistrate, in exercise of the powers conferred on
him by section 9(1) of the Traffic Offences Procedure Act 1974 and with
the approval of the Chief Justice, gives the following Notice:
Citation
1 This Notice, which amends the Traffic Offences Procedure Act
1974 Specified Penalties Notice 1988 ("the 1988 Notice"), may be cited as
the Traffic Offences Procedure Act 1974 (Specified Penalties) Amendment
Notice 2004.
Amends Schedule to BR 2 of 1988
2 The Schedule to the 1988 Notice is amended by inserting under
the heading "Motor Car Act 1951" next after the entry in respect of
section 12(1) the following entry
"Failing to wear a seat belt Section 20 C $50."
