THE MARITIME SECURITY (CRUISE TERMINALS)
(RESTRICTED ZONES) ORDER 2004

The Governor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by
section 12(1) of the Maritime Security Act 1997, makes the following
Order:

Citation
1 This Order may be cited as the Maritime Security (Cruise
Terminals) (Restricted Zones) Order 2004.

Designation of restricted zones
2 For the purpose of section 12 of the Maritime Security Act
1997

(a) the cruise ship terminal at Ordnance Island, St. George's
described in paragraph 1 of the First Schedule and
delineated in paragraph 1 of the Second Schedule;

(b) the cruise ship terminal at Penno's Wharf, St. George's
described in paragraph 2 of the First Schedule and
delineated in paragraph 2 of the Second Schedule;

(c) the No. 1 Cruise Ship Terminal in the City of Hamilton
described in paragraph 3 of the First Schedule and
delineated in paragraph 3 of the Second Schedule;

(d) the No. 5/6 Cruise Ship Terminal in the City of Hamilton
described in paragraph 4 of the First Schedule and
delineated in paragraph 4 of the Second Schedule; and

(e) the King's Wharf Cruise Ship Terminal at Sandys
described in paragraph 5 of the First Scedule and
delineated in paragraph 5 of the Second Schedule;

are hereby designated restricted zones.

Duration of restriction
3 During the period beginning thirty minutes before and ending
thirty minutes after the departure of a cruise ship, section 13 of the
Maritime Security Act 1997 shall apply.

Zones Description

1. Restricted Zone at Ordnance
Island Cruise Ship Terminal, St.
George's

All that land contained within a
line drawn from the intersection
of the security fence and the west
face of the dock; thence north-
east along the line of the security
fence and the north face of the
cruise ship terminal building to
the entrance lobby; thence east
along the internal dividing wall of
the cruise ship terminal building
to the intersection of the south-
eastern corner of the cruise ship
terminal building with the
security fence; thence east along
the line of the security fence to
the intersection with the east face
of the dock; thence south and
west along the southern face of
the dock, including the gangway
and mooring post, to the security
fence and the west face of the
dock, (as shown on map plotted
by the Ministry of Works and
Engineering from the Topographic
Map Database as Drawing
Number 5510/018/02 dated 12
December 2000).

Wharf Cruise Ship Terminal, St.
George's

All that land contained within a
line drawn from the intersection
of the security fence and the
south face of the dock; thence
north along the line of the
security fence to the intersection
with the building addressed as 9
Penno's Wharf; thence north-east
along the face of the building
addressed as 9 Penno's Wharf to
the intersection with the security
fence; thence north-east along the
line of the security fence to the
intersection with the building
addressed as 17 Penno's Wharf;
thence north along the fence of
the building addressed as 17
Penno's Wharf to the intersection
of the internal dividing wall of the
building addressed as 17 Penno's
Wharf; thence north-east along
the internal dividing wall to the
intersection with the eastern
external wall; thence south along
the eastern face of the building to
the intersection with the security
fence; thence south along the line
of the security fence to the
intersection with the south face of
the dock; thence south-west along
the southern face of the dock to
the intersection with the security
fence, (as shown on map plotted

3. Restricted Zone at No.1 Cruise
Ship Terminal, City of Hamilton

All that land contained within a
line dawn from the intersection of
the security fence and the dock;
thence north along the line of the
security fence to the intersection
with the building addressed as 10
Front Street; thence east along
the southern face of the western
side of the building addressed as
10 Front Street to the junction
with the upper floor internal
dividing wall of the eastern side of
the building, including the upper
level gangway; thence east along
the upper floor internal dividing
wall of the eastern side of the
building to the junction with the
eastern external wall; thence
south along the eastern face of
the building to the intersection
with the security fence; thence
east along the line of the security
fence to the intersection with the
east face of the dock; thence
south and west along the
southern face of the dock to the
intersection with the security
fence, (as shown on map plotted
by the Ministry of Works and
Engineering from the Topographic
Map Database as Drawing

Hamilton

All that land contained within a
line drawn from the intersection
of the security fence and the west
face of the dock; thence east and
north along the line of the
security fence to the intersection
with the building addressed as 24
Front Street; thence west, north
and east around the perimeter of
the upper floor of the building
addressed as 24 Front Street to
the junction with the upper
internal dividing wall; thence
south and east along the line of
the upper internal dividing wall to
the junction with the southern
external wall; thence east along
the southern face of the building
to the intersection with the
security fence; thence south along
the line of the security fence to
the intersection with the south
face of the dock; thence west and
north along the face of the dock
to the intersection with the
security fence, (as shown on map
plotted by the Ministry of Works
and Engineering from the
Topographic Map Database as
Drawing Number 5510/018/05
dated 12 December 2000).

5. Restricted Zone at King's Wharf
Cruise Ship Terminal, Sandys

All that land contained within a
line drawn from the intersection
of the security fence and the
south face of the dock; thence
north along the line of the
security fence and the western
face of the cruise ship terminal
buildings to the intersection of
the security fence and the north
face of the dock; thence east,
south and west along the eastern
face of the dock to the
intersection with the security
fence and shall include the north
dolphin, east of the security fence
and the south dolphin, east of the
security fence, (as shown on map
plotted by the Ministry of Works
and Engineering from the
Topographic Map Database as
Drawing Number 5510/018/06
dated 12 December 2000).
