HOTELS (TEMPORARY CUSTOMS DUTY RELIEF)
AMENDMENT ACT 2004

WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Hotels (Temporary
Customs Duty Relief) Act 1991:

Be it enacted by The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and
with the advice and consent of the Senate and the House of Assembly of
Bermuda, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Citation
1 This Act may be cited as the Hotels (Temporary Customs Duty
Relief) Amendment Act 2004.

Amends section 7 of Act No 5 of 1991
2 Section 7 of the Hotels (Temporary Customs Duty Relief) Act
1991 is amended 

(a) by deleting subparagraph (i) of subsection (2)(b) and
substituting the following subparagraph—

"(i) the goods are imported on or before 31 March
2009; and;"

(b) by deleting subsection (3) and substituting the following
subsection—

"(3) The Minister may by an order made under this
subsection before 31 March 2009 delete that date from
subsection (2) and substitute a later date.".
