THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION AMENDMENT
REGULATIONS 2003

The Governor, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by
section 84(5) of the Bermuda Constitution Order 1968, after
consultation with the Premier and the Public Service Commission, makes
the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement
1 These Regulations may be cited as the Public Service
Commission Amendment Regulations 2003 and shall come into
operation on the 29th day of August 2003.

Amends BR No. 81 of 2001
2 The Public Service Commission Regulations 2001 are amended


(a) in regulations 18(1), 26(1) and (2), 32(1), (2) and (3), 33,
34(1);

(b) in paragraphs 10(e), 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 of the First
Schedule; and

(c) in paragraphs 3(b), 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of the Second
Schedule,

by deleting the words "Head of the Civil Service" wherever they appear in
each of those provisions and substituting therefor in each case the words
"Secretary to the Cabinet".

Transitional
3 Where prior to the coming into operation of these Regulations,
the Head of the Civil Service was dealing with any matter, then, on the
coming into operation of these Regulations, such matter shall continue
and shall be dealt with by the Secretary to the Cabinet.
