The Minister, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by
section 10(1)(a) and (b) of the Marine Board Act 1962, gives the following
Notice:

Citation
1 This Notice may be cited as the Marine Board (Control Over
Maritime Traffic) Notice (No. 7) 2002.

Bank of Bermuda closed circuit swimming races
2 The Bank of Bermuda closed circuit swimming races will take
place within Hamilton Harbour on Sunday, 29 September 2002 and on
Sunday, 6 October 2002 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Closure of certain section of Hamilton Harbour
3 The section of Hamilton Harbour between the South face of
Albouy's Point and White's Island will be closed to normal marine traffic
on Sunday, 29 September 2002 and on Sunday, 6 October 2002 during
the closed circuit swimming races.

Patrol of course
4 The area referred to in paragraph 3 will be patrolled by the
Marshall boats and all mariners, pilots and boatmen are required to keep
clear of, and exercise extreme caution when approaching this area.
