THE HOSPITAL INSURANCE (HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN)
AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2000

The Minister, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by
section 40(1)(b) of the Hospital Insurance Act 1970, makes the following
Regulations:

Citation and commencement
1 These Regulations may be cited as the Hospital Insurance
(Health Insurance Plan) Amendment Regulations 2000 and shall come
into operation on 1 April 2000.

Amends Schedule 1
2 Schedule 1 to the Hospital Insurance (Health Insurance Plan)
Regulations 1987 is amended in paragraph 6(a) by deleting the words
"one month" and substituting the words "three months".
