THE GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES (HEALTH INSURANCE)
NOTICE 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Minister of Finance
by the definition of "government employee" in section 2(1) of the
Government Employees (Health Insurance) Act 1986, the following notice
is hereby given:

Citation
1 This Notice may be cited as the Government Employees (Health
Insurance) Notice 2000.

Inclusion of staff of Government Boards for purposes of GEHI
2 All persons employed by—

(a) the Pension Commission established under section 54 of
the National Pension Scheme (Occupational Pensions)
Act 1998; and

(b) the National Training Board established under section 3
of the National Training Board Act 1997,

are government employees for the purposes of the Government
Employees (Health Insurance) Act 1986 with effect from the 1st day of
January 2001.
