GOVERNMENT LOANS AMENDMENT ACT 2000

WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Government Loans Act
1978:

Be it enacted by The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and
with the advice and consent of the Senate and the House of Assembly of
Bermuda, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Citation and Commencement
1 This Act which amends the Government Loans Act 1978 may be
cited as the Government Loans Amendment Act 2000 and shall come
into operation on 1 April 2000.

Amends section 2A of Government Loans Act 1978
2 Section 2A of the Government Loans Act 1978 is amended in
subsection (1) by deleting the figure "$185,000,000" and substituting the
figure "$250,000,000".
