THE GOVERNMENT FEES AMENDMENT (NO. 2)
REGULATIONS 1999

In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 2(1) of
the Government Fees Act 1965, the Minister of Finance makes the
following Regulations:

Citation
1 These Regulations may be cited as the Government Fees
Amendment (No. 2) Regulations 1999.

Amends Head 12 of the Schedule to S.R. & O. 24/1976
2 Head 12 of the Schedule to the Government Fees Regulations
1976 is amended by inserting next after paragraph (2) the following new
paragraph:

"2A Rendering of services by customs officers in relation to a
private aircraft under section 3A:

(a) between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. $35

(b) between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. $50.".

Commencement and transitional
3 (1) Subject to paragraph (2), these Regulations commence
on the 1st day of September, 1999 ("commencement day").

GOVERNMENT FEES AMENDMENT (NO. 2) REGULATIONS

(2) Nothing in these Regulations affects the validity or effect of
a fee that was paid:

(a) before the commencement day; and

(b) in respect of a period that was still running on that day.
