THE BARRISTERS (ACCOUNTS AND RECORDS) AMENDMENT
RULES 1999

The Bar Council, in exercise of the power conferred upon it by
section 9 of the Bermuda Bar Act 1974, and otherwise, makes the
following Rules:

Citation
1 These Rules may be cited as the Barristers (Accounts And
Records) Amendment Rules 1999.

Amends rule 8 of the Barristers (Accounts and Records) Rules 1976
2 Rule 8 of the Barristers (Accounts and Records) Rules 1976 is
amended in paragraph (3) by deleting the definition of "accountant" and
substituting the following definition—

" "accountant" means a person who is a member of an
accounting institution recognized by the Bar Council;".
