REGISTRAR-GENERAL (RECORDING OF DOCUMENTS)
AMENDMENT ACT 1999

WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Registrar-General
(Recording of Documents) Act 1955:

Be it enacted by The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and
with the advice and consent of the Senate and the House of Assembly of
Bermuda, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Citation
1 This Act may be cited as the Registrar-General (Recording of
Documents) Amendment Act 1999.

Amendment of section 8 of Registrar-General (Recording of
Documents) Act
2 Section 8(2) of the Registrar-General (Recording of Documents)
Act 1955 is amended by adding the words "and shall be accompanied by
a certified copy of the deed of conveyance sufficient to indicate if stamp
duty has been paid thereon".

Commencement
3 This Act comes into operation on such day as the Minister of
Labour, Home Affairs and Public Safety may appoint by notice published
in the Gazette.
